Good evening and welcome. My name is __________and I am your host for this evening’s event Tonight’s program is an introduction to a man named Prem Rawat, also known by the title Maharaji, who has a simple message about peace. (MC says a few words about herself/himself and what listening to Maharaji has meant in her/his life).
Now we are going to see a DVD presentation of Maharaji speaking at an event in (where)(when), where the audience was largely people who were hearing him for the first time. The DVD will last about (time) and then I will return with a few announcements. Before we begin, a reminder to turn off your cell phones and pagers. Thank you.
(After DVD) If you are interested in hearing more about Maharaji’s message, the following information will be helpful to you. Many people choose to come and listen more to what Maharaji has to say. There are a number of ways to do this, including cable TV broadcasts; home viewing of DVD’s like the one we just saw, or coming to events like this. Information on these possibilities are listed on this sheet (HOLD UP SHEET – SEE SAMPLE BELOW), which is available at the information table outside (or at back of hall). There is an event like this one held here on the ____day of every month at ________ OR the next event like this will be held here on (Date/Time).
You are welcome to come and bring guests. There are invitation cards available (HOLD UP SAMPLE) if you would like to take some to give to your friends. If you would like to find out more about what Maharaji offers, a good next step is to watch this DVD called Discovering More, and/or read this booklet of the same name (HOLD UP SAMPLES). These are both excellent sources of information about the process and the resources available to you, and are available here tonight. What Maharaji offers is more than words. He teaches simple techniques that allow a person to focus within and discover an experience inside themselves. He calls these techniques Knowledge.
A series of material called The Keys has been created specifically to help a person decide if this is something they want, and to prepare a person with the best understanding to be able to fully enjoy Knowledge once they receive it. It is a self-paced program available for home viewing. To find out more about The Keys process, please feel free to stop by the KEYS table in the back of the hall. There is no charge for receiving the techniques of Knowledge. [Optional and only if there is a team available to do this:]
If you would like to have this message presented to a group or organization that you think would enjoy hearing about this, please see me afterwards. The cost of hosting events like these are covered entirely by voluntary contributions. If you would like to help in this way, there is a contribution box outside on the table. I will be available after the event if you have any questions about what I have said Thank you for coming, and good night.
