An Editor's Note
An assistant editor at our local TV station said that when she's working in the studio and Words of Peace is airing, she tries to watch it as much as she can. " He's so soothing to listen to. He's teaching me how to live in a more relaxed way and to feel more peaceful. What he says is helping me to feel serenity. I'm learning how to enjoy my life more..."
More Than Just Rent
A few months ago, I mailed program information to my landlady along with my monthly rent payment. She never commented on it until today. I just opened an envelope from her containing a large, beautiful card. On the front it says "Thank You." Inside she wrote "Thank you for being so nice. Every time I have a chance I watch the TV show. The guy is fantastic. All the beautiful things he says helps me a lot."
A Discovery At Home
A man who lives on the property of my restaurant walked back and forth through showings of the Words of Peace program for a couple of years, never showing any interest or stopping to listen. One day, he said to me, "The man you watch is on TV!" Being a TV addict, he watched every episode in the privacy of his little room and said that he was really enjoying listening and that he really wanted to learn to understand what Maharaji is saying.
Father & Son
A friend wasn’t sure if he could make it to see Maharaji live in Ft. Lauderdale because he would have to take off work. His son had overheard us talking on the phone and got very excited. He asked if they were talking about Maharaji, and told his father that he had been watching him on TV and wanted to know if he could take him to the event. They both went.
A Hospital Visit
A friend asked me to go and visit a his friend in a 'terminally ill' hospital. The patient was crippled from the neck down and probably will be in this facility for the rest of his life. I put my laptop up on the man's bed, put in a CD of Words of Peace and let it play. The man immediately asked with great enthusiasm and surprise, "Who is this?" Following up, I went to the nurse's station and asked if the hospital had cable TV. They said yes, so the next morning this man and no doubt others who live there, began watching Words of Peace regularly.
Sharing
A friend of one of the producer's started watching Words of Peace on TV. He told this friend that he was really enjoying this show, so when Maharaji was in Ft. Lauderdale and this producer could not make it to the event due to work that evening, she gave her ticket to him. He went and told her that he "loved it."
